GIFT IDEAS FOR TRAVEL FANS!

As Christmas is coming, we will have to dive back into the search for gifts. However, do not worry I am here to help you (at least for people that love to travel). I made a list of things that are sure to please someone who loves to travel, for all budgets.

° A map

A map is surely the most cliché idea of gift for a traveler, but know that it will always please us, especially if the map is aesthetic. There's something for all prices, mine comes from urban outfitters and I decided to pin places where I went on it.

° A globe

As a travel lover, I'm a globe fan, no matter how many I have. It makes a nice decoration and there are different sizes, different colors and different prices. For example, the first one is a globe where you can pin the places you visited ! You can find it easily on amazon, the one I got was a present but the cheapest I found on amazon was 20€, here is the link if you need : here.

° Album Souvenir

Every travel addict love to take pictures of everything, and what is better than keeping all those pictures in a pretty album, like this one ? This is a good present for anyone at any age, it is even more special during this pandemic period as we can't really travel...

° A trunk that can be used as a table

I fell in love with this trunk, bought in a French brand called "la maison du monde". Lucky me, this one had a failure so they made an effective discount! Otherwise, it is not cheap (around 200€) but it is so pretty, a good idea of gift for someone that just moved or that is moving !

° A camera

While traveling, we see a lot of magnificent landscapes, we meet exceptional people and we want to keep memories of all that. Therefore, investing in a good camera to be able to enjoy it afterwards is the must.

° Travel Decoration

Nowadays, you can find a lot of different decoration, depending on what you like. Here are suitcases, it is useful for me, because I do not have a lot of storage and that adds up. There are different sizes and colors, you can find them at Maison du Monde or Ikea!

° A drone

There are more and more models of drone and for travelers, what could be better than owning one? This one is an old one, but I recommend the mavic pro mini which is very efficient, easy to use and which fits in the suitcase! I found it between 300/400€

° Walls decoration

We often wonder what to give after a while ... Well, if you really have no idea and the person you want to please already has all these things, I recommend paintings/things to hang on the wall ! There are plenty of objects you can offer, for a little price, in different online shops, like Amazon, Cultura, or Fnac.

° Clothes

When traveling, I often come face to face with traditional clothes or customs from the country I am visiting ... Sometimes I like to bring the customs back to my country for a souvenir. In this case, you could offer a tee-shirt related to the next country that the person want to visit (e.g t-shirts with travel quotes on them, with vans, boats...etc).

° A passport cover

t's a fancy gift that always pleases and adds a little extra to photos taken at the airport. I don't remember where I got mine, but you can find very similar ones on amazon between 3 and 10 €.

° books

There are so much interesting books about cultures or road trips I need to get. Books are an immense source of inspiration in terms of travel, they also allow you to learn more, to acquire knowledge about the world, and that, we want. Here are some books that I was given last year (which is why this is the 2019 version) it is possible to purchase the most recent version. Lonely planet, la routard, cultura or la fnac are very good in terms of price and content.

If you know the person to whom you are going to give your gifts, it is possible that he is passionate about a particular country, giving him the Routard's guide to this country is a good gift idea!
